Full of you and me Let's get away for a while I’ve got summer dreams of you and me , anywhere but here Adirondack chairs sitting in a row the sun starts to fall Dinner for two, A river view, I can see that now I’ve got summer dreams, of you and me, getting away for a while Anywhere I mean anywhere with you by my side A sandy bar or a cabin on a lake Leaving it all behind.

"Since 1946" is inspired by my Brother Tim's reminiscing about the lake on one Wednesday evening, and that taking me back to so many great memories. Written on that Friday and played out since that Saturday in 2013

This is where it all began..... Playing Cover tunes most of my life. Looking for a drummer, and finding a drummer songwriter in William Aronson. Bill immediately asking if I had ever written and of my own songs. The Read more

This is where it all began..... Playing Cover tunes most of my life. Looking for a drummer, and finding a drummer songwriter in William Aronson. Bill immediately asking if I had ever written and of my own songs. The answer to that was No. Then in 2013, after 10 to 15 years of gentle nudging from Bill to write, Realizing that we all have moments in life worth sharing. Best Intentions was my first song, with William's help. Since 1946 was 2nd, with my Brother Tim's help, Followed by It was 1933, with my Grandfathers help. (My Grandfathers poem to our Grandmother was one of the biggest inspirations to start writing. And that wouldn't have happened with out some help from my Sister Kim's sharing a poem she found in our Grandmother's autograph book some time after our Grandparents had passed.) The Past, the Present, and what we hope to pass on to the future are what I seem to write about.
